What To Do If GFCI Trips

Your GFCI Tripped, now what?
< Back to Resources & How-To's

The GFCI on my electrical hook up keeps tripping!  What do I do?

The good news is the GFCI is doing its job!  The not-so-good news is that it can be frustrating.  So, don’t fret, we have a couple of basic things for you to try.

For 110 Plug N Plays: Push the reset button on the plug.  If it won’t reset or trips again, call your local Nordic Dealer for service.

For 220V hookup: Check your breaker box. If the breaker is tripped, reset your breaker. If it won’t reset or trips again, call your Nordic Dealer for service. Please don’t attempt this yourself. Be safe, not sorry!

If your hot tub trips the GFCI regularly and won’t stay in the ‘on’ position, don’t delay in calling your dealer for service. Waiting could make the problem worse and no one wants that to happen! Always remember, when it doubt, contact your Nordic Dealer!

Again, unless you are a licensed electrician, please do NOT work on any wiring. The authorized Service Tech from your local Nordic Dealer understands the components of your hot tub and they will know when to call an electrician to help restore power to your hot tub.
