Should I get a whirlpool tub or a tub with massage jets?
On first review, you may not know there is a difference between whirlpools and air tubs with massage gets. Both give you massage jets. Once you start looking for a tub, you will see there are important variances with typical massage jet tubs and whirlpool spas.Whirlpool jets water in a circular motion around the whole tub, while jets give you a massage type feeling where you sit.
If you go to a physical therapist, they will have a whirlpool tub. They do this to provide more coverage on the entire body and any specific body area. An air tub with massage jets, give you an "effervescent feeling" on the areas the bubble hit you.
The other significant difference between whirlpools and air tubs is the maintenance. Both are relatively simple to clean. For a whirlpool, simply add in a cleaning solution (store bought or homemade) and run the jets for a few minutes. Remember to never run a whirlpool unless it is completely filled.
Choosing which one you install in your home is simply a matter of taste. Nordic, however, gives you both in the same tub. Our DTS system includes both whirlpool hydrotherapy and massage jets.
And you can expect to pay less then a you think.
